bleaaaaaah.
Apr. 14th, 2004 09:24 amI feel thoroughly disgusting.
I felt tired and jellylike through all of yesterday. So, I went to a spinning class to perk myself up. I had somehow expected a 45-minute workout and budgeted myself accordingly, aiming to be thoroughly exhausted after 3/4 hour. However, it was actually a 60-minute workout, and I spent the last few minutes of it a bit tingly and lightheaded. (YES, I backed off in intensity after I realized at :40 that I still had :20 left, and I was drinking water the entire time.) Phew. I had to sit down for a few minutes before I felt entirely safe getting in to the shower and plopping in the hot tub.
I picked up
dilletante -- who brought me cookie dough and coffee! -- and we drove to sign class, where one of the other members had brought fresh organic strawberries, little babybel cheeses, and cranberry rolls. Class was interesting and long, and I drank yet another bottle full of water. Despite the food, interesting conversation, and lots of water, I developed a massive headache. It is a testament to the power of this headache that it was strong enough to mask the extreme nausea I was also feeling. So, when we dropped by diesel to hang out with
elvendoll and
sol3 afterwards, the Tylenol I popped and downed with some lemonade only served to bring the queasiness to the surface and make me feel even worse, and I went home early with my tail between my legs.
So, I hope I am not allergic to any of the following:
* bicycles
* cookie dough
* fresh strawberries and babybel cheeses
* CCAE classrooms
* discussions of cochlear implants
* lemonade at diesel
* other people
I slept a full 8 hours and this morning I still felt barely good enough to get up and come in to work.
Stupid body! Stupid stupid!
