moominmolly: (cheeeeeeeeeese (and figs))
This morning, as I walked by the construction in the other half of my office building, they were blasting the Postal Service. I had to listen closely to hear it over the power drills and the banging, but there it was. I could hear it through the walls in the bathroom; I sang along in my stall, quietly.

The friendly cheese lady took a slice of the cheese I was sampling for herself. "I think that this is a cheese you can eat any time. I like in the morning, with lunch, at night... I'm just a little mouse." The cheese itself is flavored with truffle, and has an edible cinnamon/nutmeg rind.

Upper management type: "Molly, I want you to know that whatever else happens with your account, I'm really impressed with all of the work you've done for them. I don't know if my opinion counts for anything, but I thought you should know."

Bridgestone designed and donated an artificial fin to a Japanese dolphin who had had three-quarters of her tail amputated. Now she can jump again.

Drinking a glass of milk does not make me hurl, even when it's whole milk. I have high hopes for the four fancy cheeses I gleefully bought today.

Whole Foods' organic Creamy Butternut Squash soup heated up in an office coffee cup and sipped languidly: rich, thick, decadent.

I finished that work I'd been putting off for three weeks: I am ten pounds lighter in the head.

Yesterday, the workmen played "You Shook Me All Night Long".

My boss loves the leopard print shoes.

It is [livejournal.com profile] amare's birthday today!

The hacking death is receding.

I love NyQuil.

Thanks.
