I've been meaning to build a fixed-gear bike for a few winters, now. Every year I think it'll be my winter project, and every year I fail to find a used frame that thrills me. Or, frankly, even to find a used frame that fits me. However, the internet tells me that I can buy a new road frame and carbon fork from Nashbar for $170. That's not insane! So:
