just now, Natalie slept for five whole hours in a row, latched on in a totally non-painful way, looked at me deliberately while nursing, and then smiled when she was done. It was like hitting the newborn jackpot. Of course, it would have been even better if dilletante and I had been clever enough to go to bed when she did, at 11 PM or so, but no, we're still up. Still! Positive signs abound.
