I love water. I drink tremendous amounts of it, from the tap and from filter pitchers and from stores. I'll drink most anything. I adore Evian -- it tastes thick, clear, almost sweet like milk. I hate Dasani more than you can imagine. Bleah. Most everything else is acceptable: Poland Spring, whatever. Fiji is also pretty good, but when I looked at the bottle and saw that it came from actual Fiji, I thought, jeez, can that be economical? I already feel guilty whenever I break down and buy Evian, because that water has been flown across the Atlantic for me. It doesn't matter how tasty it is, that's just not the right way to get water. But really, Fiji? Fiji?!
So, as it turns out, someone actually bothered to figure out how much of which resources are used to bring me that bottle of Fiji at the cafe: ( wanna guess? )
