In the summer, although I know, intellectually, and even remember it happening, that there are times when I have to leave the house wearing not only a sweater but also a heavy coat, scarf, gloves and hat... it's practically inconceivable to me to wrap my head around it.
The flip side, of course, is that, in the winter, I can't possibly imagine ever leaving the house in just a sundress...
I can only imagine how pregnancy would map onto my short-term body-memory.
