In a messy house, it is VERY EASY to hide presents in small semi-institutionalized bits of clutter. Which is good, because the girls have sleuthed out all the normal-hidey hiding places.

I know part of the emotional reason for my clutter is that I like to feel like I can hide in it. When everything is perfectly ordered, it is much more difficult to hide things because they stick out of the order like a sore thumb.
