How do you help someone feel like life is worth living when they've basically just given up and decided to wait to die?
You'd think I'd be good at solving this one, but I'm not.

If I wanted to take something like this on as a project, I'd probably ask them to go along with three (or five) new things that I orchestrate for them. I'd try to internalize these for myself as things I really want to share with this person before they go; because they might not be persuaded, and even the thought of being persuaded might be distasteful to them. So maybe just sharing. I'd be sad if I never got to share these with you, and so, so happy if you let me. I think they're beautiful, and you're beautiful, and I want you to experience that beauty.
Something like that.
